I am Jim Ikey. I am a husband, father, PawPaw, and Christian who believes that some of life’s best lessons are learned around a kitchen table, on the road with family, or while helping someone work through a problem.
The foundation
The people I love keep life in perspective.
I have been blessed to share life with Bridy for more than three decades. Together we raised four sons, and now we get to watch the next generation grow.
Family has taught me that character is built in small moments: keeping your word, being present, apologizing when needed, and finding something to laugh about when the day does not go as planned.

Show up for people
A phone call, a meal, or a few undistracted minutes can matter more than we realize.
Keep a sense of humor
Life is serious enough. I have found that laughter, especially at myself, helps keep things in perspective.
Still learning
I hope the best chapters are still ahead.
I still enjoy learning, taking on useful work, spending time with family, serving through church, and swapping stories with good people.
The aim is simple: stay close to God, love my family well, help where I can, and remain grateful for every season.
