It is easy to get so focused on what comes next that we miss the good God has placed in today.
A meal on the table. A conversation with someone we love. A chance to help. Ordinary things, but not small gifts.
"This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it."

Gratitude does not mean every part of life is easy. For me, it means remembering that God is good and taking time to thank Him along the way.
Lord, open my eyes to the blessings I might otherwise hurry past. Give me a grateful heart and help me be a blessing to someone else today.
